Meaning and usage notes

Use konsensiya for moral conscience: guilt, remorse, scruples, or the sense of right and wrong. If “conciencia” means being conscious or awareness, kaamgohan, kahibalo, animu, or phrases like naa sa panimuot may fit better depending on context.
